Sunday morning we woke up to a contential breakfast at the Hotel in San Salvador. Jon almost got to use his phrase "Quiero Agua Caliente", but too many people beat him to the request for his morning tea. After breakfast we packed up and boarded buses for the 2 hour ride to Cristo Rey church in Santa Ana.

Cristo Rey church was destroyed in the earth quake in 2000 and since that time the church has been meeting in a small fellowship hall. Several churches in the U.S including Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (GSLC) in Champaign have been raising funds to help rebuild the church. Our group organized by Jim Hack of GSLC will be woroking on a home for people who are members of Cristo Rey church this week. Hopeufully next year get to work on the church.

There were two other Habitat groups attending the service that day, one group from Tyler Texas and the other group from Ohio. During the workship service most of the litergy was spoken in Spanish and then repeated in English, all of the songs were in Spanish. Members of the congregation sat with each of us to help us through the service.
